One of the most anticipated events by the community every year is, undoubtedly, the LGBT+ Pride Day. An event that has evolved from being solely about reclaiming everyone's right to love, to also being celebrated by millions across the world. June 28th marks a special date for those of us who choose to love who our hearts decide to love and not society.
The Pride Day march, humbly initiated in New York in 1970, has found echoes in a multitude of cities around the planet, each with its own special touch and supporting the social agenda that each region feels most necessary to make visible. While during 2020, many of these marches were cancelled for the good of all, this 2021, they promise to return with all the energy that was accumulated during the past year.
To the delight of many of those who used to visit the region to celebrate Vallarta Pride, the organizing committee announced that this 2021 there will be a celebration in Puerto Vallarta, the best beach destination for the gay community in all of Latin America.
Dates and special guests confirmed for Vallarta Pride
Through a press release issued at the beginning of March, the organizing committee confirmed that the 2021 edition of Vallarta Pride, after it was speculated that this year it would also be cancelled, like the 2020 edition, due to the sanitary contingency. Fortunately for all of us who love this celebration, the 2021 Pride week is already scheduled from May 24th to 31st!
It will be 7 days to celebrate sexual diversity in one of the most important tourist destinations for the LGBT+ community, with artistic, cultural and entertainment events, many parties and the big parade, which every year is more spectacular. Although the time and day of this parade has not yet been confirmed, we will announce it on our Social Networks, so you will be aware of it.
As in every edition of Vallarta Pride, international artists and the best DJ's come together to get the party started. For example, for this Vallarta Pride 2021 Bianca del Rio, Effie Passero, Cecille, Enrico Meloni, Crystal Waters among many others are confirmed.
Businesses, bars, restaurants, entertainment centers, beaches and LGBT+ hotels in Puerto Vallarta will be open to welcome you with the security protocols and with the capacity indicated by the authorities at the time.
